皇家先發沃奎茲（Edinson Volquez）投7局只有5支零星安打，送出5次三振，拿下本季第3勝；第8局艾雷拉（Kelvin Herrera）、第9局達菲（Danny Duffy）各投1局都是三上三下。

面對老虎投手派弗瑞（Mike Pelfrey），皇家一開賽就有攻勢，1棒艾士可瓦（Alcides Escobar）、2棒穆斯塔卡斯（Mike Moustakas）、3棒凱恩（LorenzoCain）連續安打，首局先馳得點。

第4局從8棒殷凡特（Omar Infante）二壘安打帶動，艾士可瓦高飛犧牲打、穆斯塔卡斯陽春砲，又靠雙盜壘造成對手失誤，這局追加3分，取得4比0一路領先到終場。

王建民前一場比賽在第9局上場後援1局失1分，今天沒有上場，他目前出賽3場，累計4.1局被敲7安打，1次四壞保送、責失2分，防禦率4.15。

皇家目前戰績10勝5敗在美聯中區領先，接下來在主場與巴爾的摩金鶯3連戰，台灣時間23日上午8時15分開打。1050422
